Good Company - The Heart's Content

As you can see by the date, this one was stitched nine years ago.

Good Company, designed by Maureen Appleton of The Heart's Content

Every time I post a picture of one of my Maureen Appleton pieces, I remind myself that if I want to work on some of her other pieces (I have *a lot* of her pieces in my stash), I need to get working on them soon.

  7. I always think her designs are so lovely, but the thought of all that over one intimidates me. Love your Good Company!

    1. Thanks, Cheryl - I just love the look of the over one - it can be intimidating, but the finishes are so worthwhile!

  8. Very pretty! And remember, just because a pattern calls for over one, doesn't mean you have to stitch it over one!

    1. Catherine - you're right, I could still stitch her stuff "over two" when my eyes fail me further, but I just love the intense look of the "over one". :)
