Good Company, designed by Maureen Appleton of The Heart's Content
Every time I post a picture of one of my Maureen Appleton pieces, I remind myself that if I want to work on some of her other pieces (I have *a lot* of her pieces in my stash), I need to get working on them soon.

Susan, that's beautiful (love the picture of Indy, too). :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sampler, and your stitching is perfect!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gio! I love pretty much all of Maureen Appleton's stuff, especially her older samplers!
DeleteI'm in total agreement with that sentiment. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Mimi - it is a good sentiment to share!
DeleteWhat a beautiful finish and such lovely, delicate and teeny, tiny stitches. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Terri - I don't know how I stitched such tiny stitches myself :)
DeleteGorgeous. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Theresa - I appreciate it!
DeleteI always think her designs are so lovely, but the thought of all that over one intimidates me. Love your Good Company!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cheryl - I just love the look of the over one - it can be intimidating, but the finishes are so worthwhile!
DeleteVery pretty! And remember, just because a pattern calls for over one, doesn't mean you have to stitch it over one!
ReplyDeleteCatherine - you're right, I could still stitch her stuff "over two" when my eyes fail me further, but I just love the intense look of the "over one". :)
DeleteBeautiful needlework and a great quote :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie
Thanks, Debbie - yes, it's definitely something that we need to remember!
